About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust. As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical care to patients with mental health conditions, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans.
Main Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting assessments and clinics for new patients and follow-up reviews, leading weekly MDT meetings to review patient progress, and assisting with task management for patients. You will also be expected to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to hold full GMC registration and be included on the Specialist Register of the GMC or be eligible for entry within 6 months of the interview date. You will also need to be Section 12 Approved and have Approved Clinician Status.
