Consultant Psychiatrist - Older Adult Psychiatry, RITT/MAS, Preston

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Central Lancashire Rapid Intervention and Treatment Team (RITT) and Memory Assessment Services (MAS) team, you will provide clinical leadership and work closely with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.

Main Responsibilities

As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership to the RITT and MAS teams, working closely with Care Co-ordinators to diagnose and treat patients. You will also be involved in the development and implementation of treatment plans, and will work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have full GMC registration and be included on the Specialist Register of the GMC or be eligible for entry within 6 months. You will also need to have Section 12 Approved status and Approved Clinician Status. Remuneration will be in accordance with the New Consultant Contract.
