About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust. As a Clinical Lead in General Adult Community Psychiatry, you will be responsible for conducting assessments and clinics for new patients and follow-up reviews.

Main Duties

The main clinical duties of this role include leading the weekly MDT meeting to review patient progress, assisting with task management for patients, and developing a suitable job plan with the Trust. You will also have the opportunity to develop your areas of interest in a flexible way and work closely with the Medical Education department to become a Clinical & Educational Supervisor.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to hold full GMC registration and be included on the Specialist Register of the GMC or be eligible for entry within 6 months. You should also have Section 12 Approved status and Approved Clinician Status. Remuneration will be as set out in the terms of the New Consultant Contract according to previous experience.
