About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Lead Psychiatrist to join our team at Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our psychiatric team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and leading our clinical services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans for patients with complex mental health needs.
  • Lead our multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and develop strategies for improvement.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and patient outcomes.
  • Develop and implement clinical guidelines and protocols to improve patient care and safety.
  • Provide education and training to junior staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Full GMC registration and a license to practice.
  • Eligibility for entry onto the Specialist Register or current Specialist Register status.
  • Section 12 approval and Approved Clinician status.
  • Knowledge and experience in general adult community psychiatry.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
