Location: Covering various sites across the UK.

Working Hours: Full Time, Permanent. Standard hours are typically between 9am - 6pm, Monday to Friday.

Compensation: Competitive salary based on experience.

Role Purpose: The primary objective of this position is to spearhead and oversee the marketing strategy and execution for Japan Centre, enhancing brand visibility, fostering customer engagement, and driving business expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive multi-channel marketing strategy focused on customer acquisition, retention, and reactivation.
  • Enhance brand recognition and sales through effective press coverage and marketing initiatives.
  • Manage budgets with a keen focus on return on investment across various marketing channels including digital marketing, social media, and event marketing.
  • Identify and cultivate opportunities for brand growth through collaborations and market trends.
  • Oversee the planning and scheduling of social media content and newsletters, ensuring engaging and relevant material.
  • Coordinate advertising efforts, building strong relationships with external agencies and ensuring timely delivery of creative assets.
  • Present project plans, performance metrics, and insights to senior management.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer loyalty through innovative marketing approaches.
  • Conduct competitive analysis and present findings to key stakeholders.
  • Manage customer inquiries and feedback, ensuring timely and effective communication.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a B2C retail or hospitality environment.
  • Strong background in digital marketing, including social media, PPC, SEO, and email marketing.
  • Passion for Japanese cuisine and culture.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive commercial success and contribute to business growth.

Desirable Skills:

  • Proficiency in the Japanese language is a plus.
  • Experience in videography and editing.
