  • Manage and prioritize all incoming correspondence, including mail and emails, ensuring appropriate distribution.
  • Guarantee that all urgent and/or confidential communications are received and forwarded to relevant parties promptly.
  • Ensure that decision letters are dispatched to clients, Next of Kin, and Providers within the stipulated National Framework timelines.
  • When necessary, draft and prepare correspondence for signature.
  • Prioritize non-routine situations, inquiries, and demands across a range of procedures, working autonomously.
  • Organize and coordinate departmental meetings as required, providing necessary support to all relevant stakeholders.
  • Prepare meeting agendas, take minutes, and distribute notes, including documenting group discussions and interviews as needed.
  • Oversee the referral process from the receipt of new referrals through to the completion of the NHS Continuing Healthcare pathway, collaborating with CHC Clinical Assessors to ensure all required information is requested and gathered.
  • Collaborate with other administrators and nurse assessors within the complex care team to maintain effective communication networks, including managing visitors and providing coverage for other administrative duties as needed.
  • Suggest improvements to project, service, and initiative work, contributing to policy development and making recommendations for enhanced delivery.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as photocopying, faxing, and managing mail distributions.
  • Work with team members to collect information for performance reporting on relevant projects.
  • Develop and maintain efficient electronic and paper filing systems to ensure secure and accessible information for team members.
  • Actively support and contribute to the establishment of key performance indicators for effective performance assessment.
  • Engage in frequent periods of concentration for document verification, report writing, protocol development, and statistical analysis.
