Job Overview

Position: Phlebotomist / Healthcare Support Specialist

Grosvenor Gardens Healthcare (Women & Children) is dedicated to providing exceptional care in the fields of gynaecology, obstetrics, paediatrics, and general practice. Our mission is to ensure comprehensive support and reassurance during pregnancy while delivering compassionate gynaecological services. We are currently seeking a motivated Healthcare Support Specialist to enhance our team. Candidates must possess phlebotomy experience to ensure the highest standards of care and service for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver exemplary care and assist clinicians during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
  • Provide a professional and efficient service, collaborating closely with the multidisciplinary team to optimize the patient experience.
  • Maintain courteous and professional interactions with patients, clients, staff, and visitors, adhering to established protocols and turnaround times for results and reports.
  • Take ownership of individualized patient care, promptly communicating any challenges related to patient management to the supervising Manager.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Essential recent experience in adult phlebotomy; skills in paediatric phlebotomy are advantageous.
  • Experience working within a UK healthcare setting, demonstrating a commitment to patient care.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and infection control practices in a clinical environment.
  • Understanding of patient confidentiality and its importance in healthcare.
  • Proficient English communication skills, both verbal and written, are required for this role.

Employment Type: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: Competitive, based on experience.
