Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Support Specialist to join our team at London International Patient Services.

About the Role

As a Healthcare Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clinics, providing exceptional patient care and support to our healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and clinical support to healthcare professionals, ensuring efficient patient flow and maintaining a safe and welcoming environment within the clinic.
  • Assist with patient care, incorporating clinic support, front and back of house services, and effective communication with patients and colleagues.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders, including Consultants, to ensure the calm and effective running of the service on a day-to-day basis.

Requirements

  • Certification as a Healthcare Assistant (HCA) is preferred.
  • Independent sector/Private Patient experience.
  • Previous experience as a Healthcare Assistant in an outpatient setting is desirable.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and outpatient procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a high level of accuracy.
