Recognized as the gold standard of environmental reporting, CDP provides the most comprehensive dataset on corporate and city actions.

Role Overview

In 2023, CDP completed a significant digital transformation, transitioning from a traditional, paper-based disclosure cycle to a fully in-house developed, modernized, and scalable product. This transformation aims to enhance the customer experience for both external and internal users. To support this initiative, we are seeking an Agile Lead to oversee the Agile methodologies and processes within our newly established Digital team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Director of Engineering across multiple squads, engaging with Product Owners, Design, Infrastructure, Architecture, QA, and other digital teams.
  • Shape the implementation of Agile practices within the Digital team to ensure effective product delivery.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and demonstrations.
  • Develop Agile processes and recommend continuous improvement strategies.
  • Coach and support team members in efficient Agile delivery.
  • Identify project impediments and assist the team in resolving them.
  • Manage and oversee the Nexus framework within the Digital team.
  • Train and mentor colleagues to enhance their Agile capabilities.
  • Ensure a consistent approach to methods and documentation across the team.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of two years of experience leading Agile/Scrum practices for a team of over 20 individuals in a technology or product-focused environment.
  • Formal certification in one or more Agile methodologies, such as Certified SCRUM Master, Agile PM, SAFe, or Certified Agile Practitioner.
  • Hands-on experience with Agile frameworks, including Scrum, Kanban, and Scrumban.
  • A solid understanding of software development practices and technical terminology.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage stakeholders and foster relationships.
  • Proficient in facilitating workshops, training sessions, and Agile ceremonies.
  • A passion for environmental issues and sustainability is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Competitive salary range of £70,000 - £90,000 per annum.
