About the Position:

We are in search of a driven and meticulous Agile Project Leader. In this capacity, you will work closely with diverse teams, including front-end and back-end developers as well as QA engineers, to guarantee that projects are delivered punctually, within defined parameters, and to the highest quality standards. Your leadership and expertise will be pivotal in delivering innovative solutions that cater to our customers' needs and strengthen our position within the fintech sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Oversight: Manage the effective execution of projects, ensuring daily plans, weekly reports, and timelines are adhered to meticulously. Confirm that all deliverables are completed on schedule and within the established scope.
  • Team Leadership: Inspire and guide a team of engineers, cultivating a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence. Provide direction and support to align with project objectives.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Partner closely with the engineering team to outline project requirements, prioritize tasks, and deliver high-quality solutions that fulfill customer expectations.
  • Agile Practices: Steer the team in embracing Agile methodologies, ensuring effective utilization of tools such as JIRA for tracking progress, managing sprints, and prioritizing backlogs.
  • Issue Resolution: Proactively identify and address challenges, managing risks, dependencies, and obstacles to ensure seamless project advancement.
  • Process Enhancement: Champion continuous improvement in processes, tools, and methodologies, promoting the adoption of best practices and compliance with regulations.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Ensure all project documentation, including user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical specifications, is precise and current. Regularly produce project status reports and communicate updates to senior management.
  • Quality Assurance Coordination: Collaborate with QA engineers to guarantee thorough testing (automation, manual, and regression) is conducted and documented prior to deployment. Oversee the transition between development and production environments to ensure smooth, error-free launches.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Scrum/Project Manager in a technology-driven environment, ideally within fintech, with a proven history of managing and delivering complex projects utilizing Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong grasp of front-end and back-end development processes, including API integration and endpoint management. Proficient in JIRA for project tracking and workflow management.
  • Quality Assurance Knowledge: Familiarity with QA processes, encompassing automation, manual, and regression testing.
  • Leadership and Communication Skills: Exceptional leadership and communication abilities, with the capacity to facilitate collaboration across teams, proactively identify and resolve issues, and effectively manage multiple priorities.
  • Agile Certification: Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification is advantageous.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical skills with a proactive approach, detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing intricate projects.
  • Team Collaboration: A collaborative team player who can cultivate and maintain trusting relationships, with a keen attention to detail and a proactive, positive attitude.
