Job Description

We're seeking a highly skilled Pension Scheme Administrator to join our team at Legal & General. As a key member of our Operational Support Team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth administration of our Defined Benefit Pension schemes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service to individual scheme members and intermediaries, ensuring that all queries are resolved efficiently and effectively.
  • Calculate and process Defined Benefit Pension scheme benefits, ensuring accuracy and compliance with current legislation.
  • Act as a technical expert for the team, providing guidance and support on complex pension scheme queries.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of scheme data, investigating and resolving any anomalies.
  • Ensure that all standard operating procedures are followed, maintaining a full audit trail of activities.
Requirements:
  • Pension qualification, such as CII or PMI, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong understanding of Defined Benefit pension schemes, including benefit structures and administration.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Highly organized and able to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
