We are seeking a skilled Pension Administrator to join our team at Legal & General. As a Pension Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the maintenance of scheme data and administering individual member records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing an efficient administration and claims service to individual scheme members and intermediaries.
  • Calculating individual Defined Benefits quotations and ensuring accurate documentation.
  • Drafting and issuing clear communication to members and intermediaries regarding Defined Benefit Pension scheme benefits.
  • Authorizing the payment of Defined Benefits claims and ensuring accurate benefit calculations.
  • Acting as a technical expert for the team, providing guidance on pensions legislation and HMRC practice.
  • Maintaining scheme records, investigating anomalies, and taking appropriate action for Bulk Purchase Annuities Defined benefit schemes.

Requirements:

  • Pension Qualification such as CII or PMI or demonstrable equivalent experience.
  • Understanding of defined benefit pension schemes.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
