We are seeking a skilled Pension Risk Transfer Manager to join our team at Legal & General. As a key member of our Institutional Retirement division, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end scheme implementation and on-boarding of new Pension Risk Transfer (PRT) business. This will involve leading on the development of 'scheme specific' transition plans, liaising with trustees, brokers, and administrators, and maintaining an excellent knowledge of the Pension Risk Transfer proposition and processes of L&G.



Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the complete end-to-end scheme implementation and on-boarding of a portfolio of new Pension Risk Transfer (PRT) business.
  • Develop and implement 'scheme specific' transition plans for a portfolio of transactions.
  • Liaise with trustees, brokers, and administrators to agree a timescale and process for verifying data.
  • Maintain an excellent knowledge of the Pension Risk Transfer proposition and processes of L&G.


Requirements:
  • Pension qualification and experience in administering and on-boarding Defined Benefit (DB) pension schemes.
  • Knowledge of pension regulations for DB schemes, including a detailed understanding of the requirements for schemes in the course of wind-up.
  • Understanding of the current challenges and opportunities in the Pension Risk Transfer market.
  • Highly customer-focused and able to maintain and improve relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Strong organisational and change management skills, with a demonstrated ability to prioritise and work independently.
