Job Summary:

NJR Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Product Development Manager to join a world leader in home textiles. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for driving product development and ensuring the company's continued growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market analysis and provide strategic recommendations to the factory.
  • Collaborate with factories and design teams to develop new product ideas.
  • Establish relationships with factories and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective production.
  • Manage product development projects from concept to launch, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Develop and maintain product knowledge, including market trends, competitor analysis, and product specifications.
  • Work closely with the category assistant to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on product development progress and performance.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in product development, preferably in a retailer or importer environment.
  • Strong understanding of market trends and competitor analysis.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with factories, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and teamwork.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with the ability to create complex spreadsheets and reports.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
