We are currently working with a world leader in the home textiles industry, supplying major retailers in the UK and across the globe. Due to their ever-expanding growth, this client has a new opportunity for a Product Development Manager to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct market analysis and develop a good understanding of market trends.
- Develop and implement strategies to feed back to factories, including seasonal and promotional initiatives.
- Collaborate with factories and design teams to develop new product ideas.
- Organize factory calls and tours to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Benchmark products and services to ensure competitiveness.
- Collect and analyze cost information, including prices, MOQs, and lead times.
- Work closely with factories and Category Assistants to develop and launch new products.
- Cross-cost products to ensure optimal pricing and profitability.
- Provide support and assistance with factory issues and concerns.
Requirements for Success:
In addition to the above responsibilities, the successful candidate will need to have previous experience working in Product Development, preferably within a retailer or importer environment.
