Civil Engineering Technician

We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineering Technician to join our team at Argee Recruit. The successful candidate will be involved in residential infrastructure projects, including roadworks, drainage systems, and landscaping for both new and ongoing developments.
Key Responsibilities- Utilize AutoCAD and robotic surveying equipment to ensure precise project execution.
- Manage site operations effectively, ensuring all tasks are completed in accordance with project specifications.
- Maintain a proactive approach in setting out works, staying ahead of the construction team’s needs.
- Obtain and review electronic drawings, promptly notifying the team of any modifications.
- Request and track Requests for Information (RFIs) to ensure timely responses and resolutions.
- Oversee the implementation of temporary works designs and ensure compliance with current drawings and specifications.
- Conduct quality assurance checks and maintain comprehensive reports and documentation.
- Coordinate engineering resources to gather as-built information and close out any defects efficiently.
- Demonstrate proficiency in using AutoCAD, with optional experience in Asta programming and N4ce Ground modelling.
- Understand and adhere to the company’s Health and Safety policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with Quality and Environmental standards, completing all necessary documentation.
- Collaborate with site management to report any health and safety violations.
- Participate in mandatory health and safety training sessions.
- Promote safe working practices and set a personal example by wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
This position offers a competitive rate of £285 - £320, with flexibility for self-employed or PAYE arrangements based on relevant experience. A valid driving license is essential.
