We are seeking an experienced Administrative Coordinator to join our team as a 2 Week Waiting List Administrator. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the Two Week Wait Management Team, ensuring efficient data input and management of referrals.
  • Utilize initiative to prioritize referrals, adhering to National and local referral guidelines.
  • Collaborate with GPs and primary care staff to resolve unclear or inappropriate referrals, maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
  • Track referrals, ensuring progress through the referral system and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies to minimize breaches of waiting times targets.

Requirements

  • Proven administrative experience, with a minimum of 2 years in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
