Role Purpose:
The primary objective of this position is to collaborate across all departments within Safran Seats GB to provide extensive support, guidance, and personal contributions to enhance and sustain the Quality Management System.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Emphasize compliance with Part 14 regulations.
  • Safeguard customers from quality issues by ensuring adherence to regulations, customer expectations, and Safran standards while fostering a culture of prevention.
  • Propel continuous improvement initiatives by leveraging factual data and feedback, offering necessary support across all company functions.
  • Execute additional reasonable tasks aligned with business needs and objectives, consistent with the overall role purpose.
  • Develop and implement an internal audit program to ensure compliance with all regulatory standards.
  • Facilitate the deployment of the Quality Management System throughout the organization by conducting internal audits and ensuring adherence to established processes.
  • Conduct Root Cause Analysis, and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions.
  • Collaborate with all business areas on quality systems, procedures, and processes, including Quality Assurance implementation and maintenance.
  • Provide assistance during customer and regulatory audits to ensure compliance with AS9100, EASA Part 21(G)/21(J), and EASA 145 standards.
  • Support the delivery of coaching on quality improvement tools (PDCA, Root Cause Analysis, 8D) and Human Factors training for Quality Assurance implementation.
  • Prepare audit checklists and conduct both internal and external audits as necessary, including process and product evaluations.
  • Manage audit nonconformity requests, from raising to monitoring and resolution.

Qualifications:
Candidates should possess a solid engineering or quality background, with experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing or engineering environment. Experience working with both internal and external customers is essential. Preferred qualifications include AS91000 Assessor certification and experience as an EASA Part 145 or FAA 145 Auditor, along with Internal Audit Qualification (IRCA).
