Overview: Become a vital member of the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Student Achievement Coordinator, where your primary responsibility will be to connect students with essential support services that promote their success. As an approachable presence within the educational environment, you will enhance awareness of available resources and cultivate a welcoming atmosphere for students, thereby playing a significant role in the strategic initiatives aimed at improving student retention.
Qualifications:

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of educational programs and support services
  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders
  • Address student inquiries in a timely manner
  • Demonstrate the ability to engage with a diverse student population with compassion and respect
  • Possess an understanding of strategies that enhance student retention
  • Have experience in educational and customer service environments
  • Exhibit proficiency in Microsoft Office and event coordination
  • Understand college-level student services
  • Showcase skills in data analysis and collaborative teamwork
  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving and multitasking capabilities
