Marketing Intelligence Director

Job Summary:
The Institute of Cancer Research is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Marketing Leader to join our Development and Communications directorate. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing work to gather business intelligence, analyze data, and develop new strategies to strengthen the positioning of our brand.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the shift to a more data-led approach to income generation, using business intelligence, digital analytics data, and market research to identify new fundraising and commercial opportunities.
- Develop and implement strategic marketing programmes guided by market intelligence, with a strong focus on brand understanding and creative marketing solutions.
- Collaborate with partner teams across the Institute to provide market analysis, data insights, and marketing strategies to support their work.
- Work closely with the Development and Communications directorate to communicate effectively about our work, attract donors and supporters, and advocate for changes that support cancer research and improve access to our discoveries.
Requirements:
- Strong track record in designing and implementing strategic marketing programmes, with a focus on data analysis and market intelligence.
- Exceptional skills in data analysis, presentation, and creative marketing solutions.
- Strong understanding of brand and marketing principles, with the ability to develop and implement effective marketing strategies.
- Collaborative and creative approach, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
