About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Director to join our team at Assembly. As a key member of our Data, Technology & Business Consulting discipline, you will be responsible for leading the development of strategic intelligence to our clients from their industry and digital marketing campaigns.

As a Business Intelligence Director, you will oversee the integration of client technology stacks into our systems and processes, working closely with activation, client, and consultancy teams to ensure data is being utilized correctly across reporting, analysis, forecasting, and planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Analysis and Insights: Develop and maintain strong analytical and technical skills to analyze and understand business insights, and present clear and insightful reports to stakeholders.
  • Visualisation and UX Design: Design bespoke visualizations and UX design, and advise on best practices for other stakeholders.
  • Data Management: Maintain and grow knowledge of media data sources, using this knowledge to source data, and advise other data consumers and AdOps on best practices.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Develop strong relationships with clients to understand their needs, objectives, and pain points, and help them make data-driven business decisions.
  • Leadership and Management: Manage, mentor, and motivate direct reports to encourage their professional development while providing hands-on, daily supervision and guidance.

Requirements

  • Marketing Analytics Tools: Excellent knowledge of common marketing analytics tools, including Google Analytics 4 and Adobe Analytics.
  • Digital Marketing Industry: Experience in the digital marketing industry with an understanding of channel-based activation, including PPC, SEO, Display/Programmatic, Social, etc.
  • BI Role or Analytical Skills: Experience within a BI role or a role utilizing strong analytical and technical skills.
  • Data Visualisation and UX Design: Good understanding of data visualisation and UX design concepts.
  • Storytelling and Reporting: Strong storytelling via PowerPoint using data and insights, and experience analysing and understanding business insights.
  • Data Visualisation and Dashboarding Tools: Experience using data visualisation and dashboarding tools such as Tableau, Datorama, and PowerBI.
  • SQL and Relational Databases: Experience using SQL and relational databases.
