About the Role

Lloyds List Intelligence is seeking a highly skilled Performance Data Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our data analytics team, you will play a crucial role in delivering actionable insights to drive business growth and success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain our self-serve reporting system and web analytics tools, with a primary focus on Power BI.
  • Oversee the data/report requests process and translate business requirements into actionable Power BI dashboards and reports.
  • Collaborate with IT and data engineering teams to optimize data pipelines and ensure seamless integration of data sources into Power BI.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the company to gather and understand business requirements, ensuring data analysis and reporting needs are met using Power BI.
  • Develop and maintain Power BI analytics solutions to recommend actions and monitor the performance of key strategic initiatives.
  • Design and implement data models and data visualizations in Power BI that provide insights and drive data-driven decision-making across the organization.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity within Power BI reports and dashboards by performing regular data audits and validation checks.
  • Provide training and support to end-users on Power BI tools and dashboards to enable self-service analytics and reporting.
  • Stay current with Power BI features, best practices, and industry trends.
  • Monitor and analyze the usage of Power BI dashboards and reports to identify opportunities for improvement and increased adoption.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives, providing Data Analytics and Power BI expertise and ensuring data-driven insights are integrated into decision-making processes.
Requirements
  • At least 2 years' experience in a performance data analysis role developing metrics in collaboration with senior stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools, specifically Power BI, and web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
  • Knowledge of data infrastructure, data management, and governance frameworks, with a focus on Power BI integration.
  • Experience in SQL and/or Python.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills, with a proven ability to gather and translate business requirements into Power BI dashboards.
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and work in a matrix organization, adaptable and flexible.
  • Good programming and statistical analysis/modelling skills.
  • Experience of working in an agile environment.
  • Previous experience using marketing and/or sales data sets (Salesforce, Eloqua).
  • Knowledge and/or working experience with commercial data and maritime data.
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced digital SaaS subscription business and/or at a start-up.
