**About the Role:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Facilities and Environmental Officer to join our team at Butterworth Laboratories. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our laboratory facilities and implementing sustainable practices to minimize our environmental impact.

**Key Responsibilities:**

• Develop and implement sustainable practices to reduce waste and minimize environmental impact

• Manage and maintain laboratory facilities, including equipment and utilities

• Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety regulations and standards

• Collaborate with colleagues to identify and implement cost-saving initiatives

• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and contractors

**Requirements:**

• Proven experience in facilities management and environmental sustainability

• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and standards

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
