Forensic Psychiatrist Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Forensic Psychiatrist to lead our new Medium Secure Service on Hawkins Ward. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the assessment and treatment of working-age males with mental disorders, including mental illness and personality disorder.
As a leader in our multi-disciplinary team, you will oversee the management of patients with complex needs and promote innovation and improvement of services. You will have the autonomy to make decisions that will help improve patient care and outcomes, and you will be encouraged to develop your specialist interests and grow your remit and responsibilities.
We are looking for an individual who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care and is committed to making a positive impact on the lives of our patients. About the ServiceOur Medium Secure Service is a specialist male medium secure ward that provides care and treatment for working-age males with mental illnesses. As a Consultant Forensic Psychiatrist, you will work closely with our other male wards and clinical teams to ensure the pathways between the wards/services are maximised and meet patients' needs as they progress through treatment and recovery.
