About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Forensic Psychiatrist to lead our Medium Secure Service. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert clinical leadership and overseeing the management of patients with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a multi-disciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care and treatment
  • Develop and implement innovative services to improve patient outcomes and experiences
  • Collaborate with other clinical teams to ensure seamless pathways and effective care coordination
  • Contribute to the development of our Forensic Psychiatry service, shaping its future direction and growth
  • Participate in research projects and contribute to the advancement of our field

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • MRCPsych or equivalent qualification
  • CCT in Forensic Psychiatry, Old Age Psychiatry, or General Adult Psychiatry
  • Excellent clinical leadership and management skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
  • Passion for delivering high-quality patient care and treatment
