Logistics Coordinator

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Coordinator to join our team at Crane Worldwide Logistics. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth movement of cargo throughout the world.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, customs, and agents to ensure timely and efficient cargo movement.
- Prepare and process export, import, and customs clearance documents in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Manage and maintain accurate billing and cost information in our Transportation Management System (TMS) to ensure accurate invoicing and job costing.
- Communicate with customers regarding cargo status, tracking, and tracing, as well as provide rate quotations and routing information.
- Collaborate with other Crane Worldwide Logistics branches and agents to ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction.
- Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities and optimize shipment routes to meet customer requirements.
- Monitor and maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to DNI, LNR, cost accuracy, and ROTP.
- Stay up-to-date with UK import/export regulations and procedures.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of AOG and other Time Critical Services/Solutions.
- Ensure compliance with company and industry policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Strong working knowledge of import/export regulations, governance, and documentation preparation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high volume and demands.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Physical Requirements
- Talking, hearing, and using hands to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other computer components.
- Sitting for extended periods of time.
- Walking within the warehouse and inspecting freight.
- Close vision and ability to adjust focus.
