Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Operations Coordinator to join our team at Crane Worldwide Logistics. As an Operations Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth movement of cargo throughout the world.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, customs, and agents to ensure timely and efficient cargo movement.
  • Prepare and process export, import, and customs clearance documents in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Track and trace cargo to ensure proper movement and delivery.
  • Manage and maintain accurate billing and cost information in our Transportation Management System (TMS).
  • Communicate with customers regarding cargo status, routing, and dispatching.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities to optimize cargo movement and reduce costs.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as DNI, LNR, cost accuracy, and ROTP.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Strong working knowledge of export and import regulations, customs procedures, and documentation requirements.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
