Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Global Logistics Coordinator to join our team at Crane Worldwide Logistics. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating the movement of cargo worldwide, ensuring timely and efficient delivery to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, customs, and agents to ensure seamless cargo movement.
  • Prepare and process export, import, and customs clearance documents in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Manage and populate accurate billing and cost information in our Transportation Management System (TMS) for invoicing and job costing purposes.
  • Communicate with clients regarding freight disposition, including tracking, tracing, routing, and dispatching.
  • Collaborate with other Crane Worldwide Logistics branches and agents to ensure excellent service execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Identify and implement the most profitable mode of shipment while meeting customer requirements.
  • Monitor and adhere to key performance indicators (KPIs) such as DNI, LNR, cost accuracy, and ROTP.
  • Stay up-to-date with UK import/export operations and regulations, as well as AOG and Time Critical Services/Solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with company and industry policies.

Physical Requirements

This role requires the ability to:

  • Talk, hear, and use hands to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other computer components.
  • Sit for extended periods of time.
  • Walk within the warehouse and inspect freight.
  • Have close vision and the ability to adjust focus.

Requirements

  • Strong working knowledge of import and export rules, regulations, governance, and documentation preparation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage high-volume demands.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
