Job Summary

Crane Worldwide Logistics is seeking a skilled Global Logistics Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating the movement of cargo worldwide, ensuring timely and efficient delivery to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with clients, customs, and agents to ensure smooth cargo movement.
  • Prepare and process export, import, and customs clearance documents.
  • Manage billing and cost information for accurate invoicing and job costing.
  • Communicate with customers regarding freight disposition, including tracking, tracing, routing, and dispatching.
  • Collaborate with other company branches and agents to ensure excellent service execution.
  • Seek profitable shipment modes while meeting customer requirements.
  • Monitor and maintain KPIs, including DNI, LNR, cost accuracy, and ROTP.
  • Stay up-to-date on UK import/export operations and regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with company and industry policies.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of import/export operations and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Word and Excel.

Physical Requirements

  • Talking, hearing, and using hands to operate a computer.
  • Sitting for extended periods.
  • Walking within the warehouse and inspecting freight.
  • Close vision and ability to adjust focus.
