Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Operations Coordinator to join our team at Crane Worldwide Logistics. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the movement of cargo, ensuring timely and efficient delivery, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with clients, customs, and agents to ensure smooth cargo movement.
- Prepare and process export, import, and customs clearance documents.
- Track and trace cargo to ensure proper movement and delivery.
- Manage billing and cost information in TMF for accurate invoicing and job costing.
- Communicate with customers regarding freight disposition, including tracking, tracing, routing, and dispatching.
- Collaborate with other company branches and agents to ensure customer satisfaction and excellent service execution.
- Optimize shipment modes to meet customer requirements while maximizing profitability.
- Monitor and adhere to KPIs, including DNI, LNR, cost accuracy, and ROTP.
- Ensure compliance with company and industry policies.
Physical Demands:
The physical demands of this role include:
- Talking, hearing, and using hands to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other components.
- Sitting for extended periods.
- Walking within the warehouse and inspecting freight.
- Close vision and ability to adjust focus.
Requirements:
- Strong working knowledge of import and export rules, regulations, governance, and documentation preparation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills to manage high-volume demands.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
