Logistics Coordinator

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Coordinator to join our team at Crane Worldwide Logistics. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth movement of cargo throughout the world.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with clients, customs, and agents to facilitate the export, import, and customs clearance process.
- Prepare and manage documents necessary for cargo movement, including commercial invoices and bills of lading.
- Track and trace cargo to ensure timely delivery and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Manage and maintain accurate records of cargo movement, including tracking numbers and delivery status.
- Communicate with customers regarding cargo status, including updates on delivery times and any issues that may affect delivery.
- Collaborate with other departments, including sales and customer service, to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and procedures, and implement changes as needed.
- Ensure compliance with company standards and regulations, including those related to customs clearance and cargo security.
Requirements
- Strong working knowledge of customs regulations and procedures.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Demands
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
- Ability to use a computer and other office equipment.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
