London, Greater London, United Kingdom NHS Digital Full time

About the Position

Where Your Impact Matters

Are you proficient in digital marketing strategies and audience engagement? Do you possess a creative flair for crafting visuals and content that effectively highlight various clinical guidance materials for essential healthcare professionals?

NHS Digital is seeking a talented individual to spearhead information campaigns targeting a broad clinical audience through diverse digital platforms, including social media, e-newsletters, and websites.

Your primary focus will be on developing online informational resources and assessing their impact, supporting the GIRFT Academy, which offers clinical guidance to NHS trusts and their medical teams as part of the initiative to implement data-driven quality enhancement projects across the NHS in England.

The GIRFT initiative is a program aimed at enhancing the quality of care within the NHS. It collaborates with hospital trusts to refine clinical practices and patient outcomes by addressing discrepancies in service delivery across the NHS and disseminating best practices among trusts and systems.

The successful candidate will report to the GIRFT Clinical Information Products Lead and may need to travel within the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and achieve digital marketing goals for various GIRFT projects and outputs, ensuring alignment with the program's strategic objectives.
  • Oversee the program's digital communication platforms, including the GIRFT website, social media profiles, YouTube channel, and e-newsletter, ensuring their ongoing development and enhancement.
  • Analyze digital outputs, generating reports on progress and identifying areas for improvement using various analytical tools and software, including Google Analytics.
  • Assist with events and conferences, managing communication with conference organizers and GIRFT speakers, and creating PowerPoint presentations as necessary.
  • Disseminate information to GIRFT audiences to promote awareness and understanding of GIRFT's key initiatives and decisions through various digital channels, including the GIRFT website, webinars, and e-newsletters.
  • Build effective partnerships with GIRFT stakeholders, particularly professional specialty associations, establishing communication channels to inform these teams about GIRFT's outputs, including national reports and clinical guidance.

Please note that colleagues with a designated office base are expected to spend, on average, at least 40% of their time working in-person.

About You

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

  • Advanced proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, CRM databases, website content management systems, online graphic and video creation tools, and social media management platforms such as Hootsuite and Pulsar.
  • High-level expertise in producing content and visuals for digital channels tailored to the target audience.
  • Ability to convey complex clinical information through online/digital platforms, ensuring a diverse range of audiences comprehend the benefits of the clinical guidance.
  • Competence in utilizing analytics tools to assess stakeholder engagement with clinical guidance documents developed by the GIRFT Academy team.
  • Subject matter expert capable of guiding and supporting GIRFT teams in their utilization of digital channels and clinical engagement.
  • Experience in event planning and coordination of external training events and conferences, providing opportunities to showcase the program and its initiatives.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and a proven track record of collaborating with NHS managers at all levels while managing tight deadlines across various projects.

What We Offer:

  • A role within a dynamic team leveraging data and digital technology to transform health and care.
  • A variety of opportunities to enhance your experience in an environment where your contributions have a direct and positive impact.
  • A genuine commitment to your personal and professional growth, with access to a wide range of learning opportunities.

Why Consider This Opportunity:

We value the diverse experiences our team members bring to their roles. We are committed to fostering an environment where everyone can contribute fully, regardless of their background, identity, or circumstances. We encourage applications from individuals of all backgrounds and abilities.
