Job Title: Credit Control Administrator

Location: Liverpool / 3 days on site

Salary: £23,000 + bonus

Contract Type: Permanent

About the Role

We are excited to present an excellent opportunity for candidates interested in the position of Credit Control Administrator. This role is pivotal in overseeing the daily functions of the Credit Control department, with a primary focus on administrative responsibilities. The successful applicant should excel in a dynamic environment and have a strong attention to detail, especially regarding numerical and grammatical accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Adhere to and improve credit control protocols as necessary.
  • Manage daily bank transactions and process refunds.
  • Conduct thorough credit assessments and validate information provided by Account Managers.
  • Establish accounts on relevant systems.
  • Ensure Direct Debit authorizations are correctly set up and maintain accurate records in the system.
  • Engage with clients and Account Managers regarding any canceled Direct Debit instructions.
  • Distribute manual credits on a weekly basis.
  • Handle ticket processing and allocation efficiently.
  • Coordinate quarterly data uploads from Creditsafe.
  • Complete Proof of Debt documentation as required.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Requirements

What We Are Looking For

  • Strong IT proficiency, particularly in Word, Excel, and MS Outlook (preferred).
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Solid understanding of credit control processes and methodologies.
  • Experience in a high-volume transactional setting or a willingness to learn.
