Your key responsibilities will include developing and implementing a programme of activities that promote independence, dignity, and a sense of community. You will work closely with residents, families, and colleagues to ensure that our activities are client-centred, age-appropriate, and aligned with our philosophy of care.

Key skills and qualifications required include a relevant qualification in Health and Social Care, experience of working in recreational/social activity, and a willingness to work with older people with varying abilities and needs.

**What you'll be doing:**

* Determining and maintaining agreed standards of social care to meet the needs of each resident
* Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of activities
* Encouraging residents to maintain their links with the Jewish community and participate in social and recreational events
* Involving the community in the home and the residents in the life of the community
* Managing volunteers who assist with activities and outings

**What you'll bring to Jewish Care:**

* A relevant qualification in Health and Social Care
* Experience of working in recreational/social activity
* Experience of working with individual clients and groups
* Experience of working with older people with varying abilities and needs
* Awareness of physical and mental health issues affecting older people
