With a strong pipeline of work and promising new client engagements, we are seeking a Senior Wastewater Network Engineer to contribute to our ongoing success.


You will collaborate within a multidisciplinary team comprising 110 professionals from Stantec, across 13 UK offices and a team in Pune, alongside our clients and consultant/contractor partners, working together to deliver projects throughout the UK & Ireland.

This role offers a fantastic opportunity to be part of an innovative group of modellers, engaging in a long-term framework while contributing to industry-leading initiatives.

ABOUT YOU


To qualify for this position, you must hold a degree (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering, Geography, or a related field, and be a member of a relevant professional institution such as ICE or CIWEM. You should have prior experience leading projects in urban drainage settings. Successful candidates will showcase technical expertise across a broad spectrum of urban drainage modelling tasks.

Your role will involve providing guidance, training, and fostering staff development and wellbeing within the discipline.

The position will require participation in the planning, scheduling, and coordination of urban drainage projects while ensuring excellence in delivery, technical governance, and adherence to best practices.

The ideal candidate will possess outstanding communication skills, demonstrated through report writing, developing and delivering presentations (both external and internal), and establishing connections within the industry.


The successful applicant will have experience in managing and developing personnel, as well as the ability to integrate seamlessly into a team and provide technical leadership in an urban drainage context, with a strong focus on client service.
