Senior Wastewater Network Modeller

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Wastewater Network Modeller to join our team at Strata Construction Consulting UK Ltd in Leeds. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary and award-winning consultancy that has a strong reputation in the Engineering industry.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading projects, working closely with other disciplines within the water team, and mentoring junior hydraulic modellers. Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and delivering wastewater catchment strategies and solutions, including hydraulic modelling and analysis, model use studies, optioneering, and cost-benefit analysis studies.
- Leading a team to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring excellent client service and satisfaction.
- Scoping and developing hydraulic modelling approaches to meet client needs.
- Undertaking technical reviews of hydraulic models to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Preparing technical reports and presentations for clients and stakeholders.
- Mentoring and developing others in fluvial and pluvial modelling.
- Supporting business development by identifying new opportunities and leading on proposal preparation.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A degree in Civil Engineering or a relevant subject, and membership of an industry-relevant institution, such as the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) or the Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management (CIWEM).
- Previous experience leading projects in an urban drainage environment, with a strong technical background in urban drainage modelling activities, including the use of InfoWorks ICM.
- Experience in staff management and development, with the ability to provide technical leadership to other modelling staff.
