About the Role

As a Wastewater Hydraulic Modeller at Waterman Aspen, you will play a key role in our Water and Environment North team. Your primary responsibility will be to work on a variety of projects for our clients, applying and developing your skills in wastewater hydraulic modelling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain complex wastewater hydraulic models using InfoWorks ICM software.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality hydraulic modelling projects for Water Company clients.
  • Prepare and present technical reports to meet industry standards and project objectives.
  • Conduct checks on technical reports and calculation outputs to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
Requirements
  • Relevant degree qualification in Civil Engineering, geography, or equivalent.
  • Chartered Member or working towards chartered membership of a professional institution such as CIWEM, ICE, APM, etc.
  • Substantial experience in modelling urban drainage and wastewater systems following appropriate standards and specifications.
  • Proficiency in using InfoWorks ICM modelling software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Chartered Membership of relevant professional organisation.
  • Ability to coordinate third-party suppliers for survey delivery and data collection.
