Job Summary:
HRLife is seeking an experienced ER Specialist to join our team. As an ER Specialist, you will be responsible for providing expert advice on employee relations matters, including complex cases, risk management, and training.
Key Responsibilities:
- ER Case Management: Provide guidance and support to managers on ER cases, including early conciliation and employment tribunal.
- Risk Management: Identify, assess, manage, resolve, and mitigate risk in ER cases.
- Training and Development: Create and deliver training on HR-related matters, including investigations, disciplinary procedures, grievances, appeals, and UK employment legislation.
- Policy Development: Ensure policies and procedures support best ER practice.
- Documentation: Create documentation showing 'what good looks like' for training and development purposes.
Requirements:
- Experience: Previous experience of working in a multi-site or blue-collar environment is essential.
- Qualifications: Ideally CIPD level 5 qualified.
- Skills: Highly tenacious and resilient, flexible to change in demands. Comfortable dealing with complex ER cases, Subject Access Requests, and employment tribunals.
- Personal Qualities: Confident in taking ownership of issues to resolution in a timely manner. Excellent communicator able to adapt and build rapport/provide advice to all levels. An active listener who is naturally inquisitive and able to coach people to reach a resolution.
Working Arrangements:
Hybrid working - 3 days office, 2 days remote work.
