Job Description

M4 Recruitment - Swindon Division is seeking a skilled Warehouse Operative to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of our warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Picking and Shipping: Ensure that picking and shipping output and quality are maximized while promoting and driving forward health and safety and behavioral standards to the highest possible levels.
  • Inventory Management: Display flexibility and punctuality at all times, and have a positive attitude to work and be a good team player.
  • Quality Control: Have a good eye for detail and ensure products are picked correctly and efficiently according to the order form and productivity is maximized and all products are clean and free from damage.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure adherence to any company policies and Standard Operating Procedures set out by the company, ensuring you display and encourage a positive attitude towards both Despatch and companywide goals.
  • Stock Management: Assist the Despatch Supervisor in carrying out regular stock checks to ensure finished product numbers are in line with the ERP system.
  • GDPR Compliance: Follow correct GDPR processes and all paperwork that includes personal data is disposed of correctly.
  • Warehouse Maintenance: Any dirty or damaged boxes are to be highlighted and reported to the supervisor to ensure they are replaced at the earliest possible convenience.
  • Stock Replenishment: Replenish stock in the despatch warehouse when required, highlighting any stock shortages or discrepancies to the supervisor immediately to ensure this information is passed on to the correct department.
  • Collaboration: Collect stock from the production department as and when required.
