Position Overview: The Accounts Receivable Manager will be responsible for overseeing the administration and collection of all outstanding receivables, ensuring prompt payments from clients, and managing credit exposure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and oversee credit limits and payment conditions for clients.
- Regularly assess credit policies to guarantee adherence to organizational standards and legal requirements.
- Evaluate and modify credit limits based on client performance and shifts in credit standing.
- Supervise accounts receivable records to ensure timely collection of overdue invoices.
- Develop and implement a collection strategy aimed at minimizing aged debt and reducing bad debt risk.
- Generate and disseminate periodic reports on accounts receivable status, collection efforts, and aging analysis.
- Negotiate payment arrangements and settlements with overdue accounts.
- Compile monthly, quarterly, and annual reports detailing credit control activities and outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in accounts receivable management.
- While pursuing an accountancy qualification is advantageous, it is not a prerequisite.
