About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Duty Manager to join our team at Novotel Brighton Beach. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food and beverage outlets, providing exceptional customer service, and leading a team of staff to deliver an outstanding guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the bar, kitchen, and gaming areas, ensuring seamless service delivery and high standards of quality.
  • Manage staff, including training, coaching, and performance management, to ensure a motivated and efficient team.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth, improve customer satisfaction, and increase revenue.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies, including RSA and RCG certification.
  • Manage inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining stock levels to optimize profitability.
  • Handle guest feedback and complaints in a professional and proactive manner.
  • Have a strong background in gaming and wagering, with knowledge of craft beer, wine, and spirits.

About You:

  • Relevant experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • A valid RSA and RCG certificate, with a strong understanding of compliance and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment, with high volumes of customers, and adapt to changing situations.
  • A strong focus on customer service, with a passion for delivering exceptional experiences.
  • Able to work a rotating flexible roster, including weekends, public holidays, and evenings.
