Carrington West, a prominent contractor in the water sector, is seeking an experienced Electrical Authorized Person/Electrical Supervisor to oversee operations on a significant clean water project in Maidstone.


This role presents an excellent opportunity to work with a contractor that has secured major AMP7 contracts within the Southern Water Framework, focusing on extensive wastewater facilities throughout Kent.

As an Authorized Person, the ideal candidate will possess a solid background in drafting and managing Risk Assessments and Method Statements for subcontractor execution on previous water and wastewater projects.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing and evaluating subcontractor performance
  • Managing in-house project labor teams
  • Ensuring compliance with health, safety, environment, and quality standards
  • Engaging with client representatives
  • Assessing and planning resource requirements for project installations
  • Preparing Method Statements
  • Developing Risk Assessments
  • Collaborating with management on project outcomes
  • Implementing company policies regarding safety, health, environment, and quality
  • Maintaining high standards of output quality
Qualifications:

  • Relevant electrical certification
  • Experience in the water or wastewater sector is essential
  • Proven supervisory experience
  • Competence in writing Method Statements and Risk Assessments
  • Possession of a valid full UK driving license

Carrington West specializes in recruiting for the water industry, providing staffing solutions for utility companies, contractors, and consultancies associated with the UK water AMP 6/7 frameworks, for both permanent and contract roles.
