About the Role

Bridges Electrical Engineers is seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to oversee and manage a team of electricians on various projects across the South East region.

This is a permanent role, contracted to 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with paid overtime and travel time.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising electrical installations, ensuring compliance with BS7671 and Bridges' Health & Safety Rules and Essential Standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise electrical installations and ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations
  • Manage a team of electricians, providing coaching and mentoring to ensure high-quality work
  • Promote positive health and wellbeing among team members
  • Act as an ambassador for Bridges, supporting business goals and maintaining a positive reputation
  • Manage workload and prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines
Requirements
  • ECS gold card
  • SSSTS / SMSTS certification
  • Experience as an Electrical Supervisor, site managing electrical projects
  • Experience in water or heavy industrial industries
  • Ability to manage own and others' workload with minimal assistance
  • Appropriate City & Guilds trade qualification
  • Relevant H&S certificate
  • Full UK driving license
  • Emergency first aid or First Aider certification
Desirable Qualifications
  • PASMA / IPAF certification
  • Confined space certification
  • COMPEX certification
  • EUSR water hygiene certification
  • Thames water passport certification
  • Test and Inspect certification
