About the Role

Bridges Electrical Engineers Ltd is seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supervising electrical installations and ensuring that all work is carried out to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Electrical Installation Supervision: Supervise electrical installations in accordance with BS7671 and Bridges Health & Safety Rules and Essential Standards.
  2. Quality Assurance: Ensure that all items are installed to the highest standards, in compliance with the project's quality plan and inspection and test plans.
  3. Risk Assessment: Follow and actively promote the STAR dynamic risk assessment and be empowered to stop work should unsafe circumstances arise.
  4. Team Leadership: Coach and mentor Electricians, Electrical Improvers/Mates, and Apprentices.
  5. Company Representation: Promote and demonstrate the Bridges' values when dealing with peers, staff, customers, and clients.
  6. Health and Wellbeing: Promote positive health and wellbeing amongst peers.
  7. Professional Conduct: Act in a professional manner and be an ambassador for Bridges, supporting the business goals and maintaining the company's positive reputation.
Requirements
  1. ECS Gold Card: Hold an ECS gold card.
  2. SSSTS/SMSTS: Hold a valid SSSTS/SMSTS certification.
  3. Electrical Supervision Experience: Have experience as an Electrical Supervisor, site managing electrical projects.
  4. Industry Experience: Have experience within water/heavy industrial industries.
  5. Workload Management: Be able to manage own and others' workload with minimal assistance from Project Management in delivering safe profitable projects.
  6. Qualifications: Hold an appropriate City & Guilds trade qualification.
  7. H&S Certificate: Hold a relevant H&S certificate.
  8. Driving Licence: Hold a full UK driving licence.
  9. First Aid: Hold an Emergency first aid or First Aider certification.
Desirable Qualifications
  1. PASMA/IPAF: Hold a PASMA/IPAF certification.
  2. Confined Space: Have experience in confined space.
  3. COMPEX: Hold a COMPEX certification.
  4. EUSR Water Hygiene: Hold an EUSR water hygiene certification.
  5. Thames Water Passport: Hold a Thames water passport.
  6. Test and Inspect: Have experience in test and inspect.
