About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join our team at Bridges Electrical Engineers. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing a team of electricians on various projects across the South East region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise electrical installations in accordance with BS7671 and Bridges Health & Safety Rules and Essential Standards
  • Ensure all items are installed to the highest standards, in compliance with the project's quality plan and inspection and test plans
  • Coach and mentor Electricians, Electrical Improvers/Mates and Apprentices
  • Promote and demonstrate the Bridges' values when dealing with peers, staff, customers and clients
  • Act in a professional manner and be an ambassador for Bridges, supporting the business goals and maintaining the company's positive reputation
Requirements
  • ECS gold card (essential)
  • SSSTS / SMSTS (essential)
  • Experience as an Electrical Supervisor, site managing electrical projects
  • Experience within water / heavy industrial industries
  • Able to manage own and others workload with minimal assistance from Project Management in delivering safe profitable projects
  • Appropriate City & Guilds trade Qualification
  • Relevant H&S certificate
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Emergency first aid or First Aider

  • Confined space

  • EUSR water hygiene
  • Thames water passport
