About the Role

As a Senior Nurse Leader at Signature Senior Lifestyle Limited, you will be responsible for the strategic direction and operational management of a defined area of the home. You will have the authority and accountability to make informed care decisions, coordinating the day-to-day running of your care area and providing leadership and guidance to the care team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care to residents, ensuring their needs are met and their care plans are up-to-date.
  • Lead and manage the care team, providing guidance and support to ensure the highest standards of care are maintained.
  • Manage monthly routine medication and supervise the care team when delivering this.
  • Respond to emergency situations and provide leadership in times of crisis.
  • Act as a named nurse for individual residents, developing strong relationships and ensuring their needs are met.
  • Review and develop care plans in line with Signature policy, ensuring accurate and up-to-date documentation.
  • Share specialist knowledge with the care team, promoting best practice and ensuring the highest standards of care.
