Flexographic Printing Specialist

Reflex Labels is seeking a skilled Flexographic Print Operator to join our team at our Grimsby site. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining our flexographic printing machines, ensuring high-quality prints and efficient production processes.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate and maintain flexographic printing machines, including the Mark Andy P3 8-color and Edale FL3 9-color presses.
- Prepare presses for printing and troubleshoot any issues that arise during the printing process.
- Monitor feeding, printing, and racking processes to maintain specified operating levels and detect malfunctions.
- Blend and test inks, stains, and solvents according to material types and work order specifications.
- Ensure all printing tasks are carried out to high standards and maintain quality control.
- Liaise with the production manager to achieve optimal machine utilization, minimize wastage, and meet delivery deadlines.
- Work collaboratively with the team to support colleagues and share information.
- Follow quality control and quality assurance procedures in the Print Department and maintain accurate records.
- Excellent verbal communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Ability to operate or quickly learn to operate various printing machines and related software.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience in UV flexographic printing and meeting SEDEX and ETI requirements.
- Experience working within a team with good communication skills.
- Experienced flexographic printer.
