The Role: Freelance Experience Design Strategist

We are seeking a talented freelance strategist to join our remote team. You will collaborate with the Strategy Director and wider business on projects spanning digital innovation, product development, and experience design across various online and offline platforms.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to new business pitches by collaborating with our creative team to explore innovative solutions, conducting research, analyzing insights, identifying cultural trends, and generating ideas.
  • Work closely with the Production team to ensure that strategic deliverables are effectively costed, managed, and executed flawlessly.
  • Partner with clients and partner teams to define project objectives, requirements, and overall approach by identifying opportunities and shaping project parameters.
  • Develop value-driven solutions that encompass product, campaign, and experiential aspects.
  • Lead engaging workshops with key stakeholders alongside relevant team members.
  • Act as a bridge between brands and audiences, designing creative experiences that benefit all parties involved.
  • Conduct research initiatives to assess market trends, audience behavior, technology advancements, and campaign effectiveness. Utilize both qualitative and quantitative methodologies to generate actionable insights and recommendations for our clients.
  • Position yourself as a thought leader across product, platform, and cultural domains.
  • Monitor emerging trends in culture, technology, and consumer behavior, contributing to boundary-pushing and thought leadership materials.
  • Support the development of innovative digital experience, campaign, and product strategies that deliver mutual value for brands and audiences, empowering our creative team to excel.

  • Deep understanding of the digital marketing and activation landscape.
  • Exceptional presentation and written communication skills.
  • Strong research and analytical capabilities.
  • Ability to transform vague requests into well-defined briefs.
  • Experience with UX is a valuable asset.
