About the Role

We are currently recruiting for a Commercial Administrator to join our industry-leading Term Maintenance division. The successful candidate will provide contract administration support to the operational team, working closely with clients and their electronic financial management systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and monitor FM Conway's interaction with clients and their electronic financial management systems.
  • Prepare applications for payment and ensure they are submitted within the required timescales.
  • Receipt and process task orders and completion and maintenance certificates.
  • Prepare and submit weekly resource forecasts for borough plant and materials.
  • Support the Contracts Manager and Quantity Surveyor in client payments to avoid cash flow problems and late receipt of funds.
  • Liaise with site teams and the training team to ensure course attendance and maintain the competence of the workforce.
  • Request purchase orders and raise requisitions as required.

Requirements

  • Strong administrative skills and a strong eye for detail.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in the highways or construction industry would be beneficial.
  • Education to GCSE level or equivalent and a minimum of NVQ Level 2 in business administration or equivalent.
  • A full UK driving licence and the ability to travel to other FM Conway locations.
