Job Summary

FM Conway is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Commercial Administrator to join our Term Maintenance division. As a key member of our team, you will provide administrative support to our operational team, ensuring seamless contract administration and client interactions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and monitor FM Conway's interaction with clients and their electronic financial management systems.
  • Prepare and submit applications for payment, ensuring timely submission within required timescales.
  • Process receipting task orders and completion/maintenance certificates.
  • Prepare and submit weekly resource forecasts for borough plant and materials.
  • Support the Contracts Manager and Quantity Surveyor in client payments to avoid cash flow problems and late receipt of funds.
  • Liaise with site teams and the training team to ensure course attendance and maintain workforce competence.
  • Request purchase orders and raise requisitions as required.

Requirements

  • Strong administrative skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience in the highways or construction industry is beneficial.
  • GCSE level education or equivalent and NVQ Level 2 in business administration or equivalent.
  • Ability to drive and possess a full UK driving license.
